Representative Training & Onboarding

Upon starting with TriCoast Surgical, new representatives are given access to all resources Arthrex and TriCoast has available. Each new representative completed two tracks of training within their first 6 months. On the corporate side, reps will be responsible for watching educational videos and passing knowledge based tests. At the end of 6 months each new hire goes to Arthrex for onsite training with a group of peers with similar tenure levels. During this time representatives are trained and tested to ensure they are providing the best level of care in the field.

At the local level, for the first 30 days new hires are shadowing tenured sales representatives to learn operating room protocol, surgical techniques, procedures, inventory logistics, and facility management. After the first 30 days, new representatives will go through a six-week in-house training course at our Raleigh office. Here our Medical Education Director and agency management will dig deeper into product knowledge, cadaver training, sawbones, and hands on learning.

Both levels of training are completed within a new reps first 6 months.
